Why this blog?
If you are like me, then there’s a yearning inside of you to travel.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step – Lao Tzu
You’re possibly tired of life stuck in a boring office, and want to reclaim a little bit of freedom, ease, and joy. Maybe you want to escape from that boring day job (btw, you’d be doing yourself a huge favor), and get lost in the thrills of going someplace new. Each of us has our own interpretation of what the best travel looks like.
I’m sure you agree that travel allows us to get away from mundane activities, and routines and give our life a meaningful purpose.
I get your vibe, and that bug has bitten me
a long time ago. If you like traveling,
then you’ll feel right at home here.
Who am I?
My name is Smriti Singh, and I welcome you to my blog.
I am a software developer currently working in a reputed MNC, and this blog is me sharing my travel experiences with you.
Since you’re here right now, something tells me that you’re full of passionate feeling, and a mindset to travel. Between my strong passion and ridiculous commitment to exploring new places, this blog came to life.
For me, life is all about gathering memories, not just earthly possessions.
I’m now creating those precious memories by traveling, and while working on this travel blog (which I literally started a couple days back).
If you’re looking for a place to quench your thirst for travel and discover how to do it too, you’re in the right place.
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all. – Helen Keller
How can I help you?
I’m here to tell you that your life isn’t just working and earning for you and others. It’s more than that.
Adventure may hurt you, but monotony will kill you.
You don’t have to live behind four walls, stuck away in a full-time job that is sucking you dry, and repetitive mundane activities. You can have them too, along with escaping from your humdrum life for a week or two.
Allow me to share two of my favorite quotes:
Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind. – Anthony Bourdain
The journey not the arrival matters. – T.S. Eliot
Hehe, you are just like me. I travel because it makes me realize how much I haven’t seen. This blog is all about telling about those unseen places from my eyes. Hope you’ll find it an awesome read.
Happy reading! Cheerful traveling!
